Welcome to the Pinjarra Family Bible School website.
The next Pinjarra Family Bible School will be held, God willing, from Thursday 6 April to Monday 10 April 2023. Brother James Jolly from the Tea Tree Gully Ecclesia in Adelaide has agreed to lead the studies.
The Jews deluded themselves that they were bearers of the divine spark. Keeping the traditions made them just before God, and superior to others ... and James was known among Jews as James "the just". Thinking themselves superior; they couldn't understand the purpose of trial, being kind to the poor, or taking second place. We might laugh, until we realize that modern Christian and Atheist doctrine is also that appearance, and not real change is the way to acceptance. We too can walk a certain walk, and talk a talk ... but never really own our faith, because it isn't alive within us. One day James' half brother awakened him to a whole different concept of faith: a faith that can satisfy even in the face of trial ... a faith that treats others with real care ... a faith that guides us in word and action ... a faith that trusts God no matter what ... the faith that works. James explains this faith using memorable word pictures like his half-brother, and perhaps carpenter father. His words are easy to grasp, and yet with depth of lessons that keep on giving the longer we think on them.
So, do you have the faith that works?
This Bible School is organised by the Christadelphians in Perth, Western Australia and is sponsored by the Perth Central Christadelphian Ecclesia Inc. The Bible School is held over the Easter weekend at Fairbridge Village, a beautiful historical site surrounded by farm lands and bush. Accommodation is in heritage listed cottages varying in size to cater for all, in both small and large groups. The cottages are all self contained, some meals are prepared and enjoyed within your house group, other meals are enjoyed together with everyone. It is a wonderful opportunity for children to enjoy the freedom to roam safely, so rarely found nowadays.
The Bible School is arranged with the objective of providing brethren, sisters and their children with the opportunity of spending the Easter weekend in the company of those of like precious faith for bible study, fellowship, reflection and healthy recreation. Primary attention is given throughout the weekend to the Word of God and it is hoped that our commitment to living the truth and the Bible School will provide a positive contribution to the needs of the brotherhood for the future.
